moodGuageR is a web application to analyze the microblog such as Twitter and build models for classifying “tweets” into positive, negative and neutral sentiments. moodGuageR collects online twitter data in a streaming fashion and therefore represents a true sample of actual tweets in terms of language use and content. It uses unigram model as a baseline and provides opinion summary on a dashboard. Using moodGuageR, one can analyze tweets in telugu, kannada and other indian languages as well. The app has provision to analyze tweets based on geographical location, time duration and topic of interest.
As bloggers exchange their opinion on a variety of topics, discuss current issues, complain and express positive sentiment for products they use, comment on the movies they watch etc, moodGuageR assists to gather a first hand opinion on theses topics.
